I have a friend who is trying to sell handmade beaded jewelry on Etsy, and not getting very far with it as of yet. In some cases, it might be easier for people to sell gold jewelry for cash by taking it to a pawn shop, and not having to worry about listing fees or waiting for something to sell.

That was the question asked me recently by a really good friend of mine. In and of itself, I suppose it is a reasonable question, however, I had no idea why he would ask it, and why he'd be asking me. I am not a pet person. I like pets, and seem to get along with them, but I just don't consider taking on the responsibility of them as being a priority in my life. Those darned things are expensive when you start buying them food, and dog toys and such.

The curiosity for me came with the fact that my friend was no pet owner either. With a little prodding I was soon able to learn his secrets. Seems that he spends time in the mall in or around the pet stores. While pretending to look at cat furniture or dog toys for strong chewers he casually enters into conversations with pretty women.
